Runners Up

2024-now

Sunstar – Swiss Hotel Collection

I had the great opportunity to work in the hospitality and service sector for a Swiss hotel group called Sunstar Management AG. My responsibilities included graphic design, desktop publishing, web design, maintaining and enhancing the brand’s seven corporate identities (CIs), as well as the DACH brand. I also managed projects such as implementing an image database in Teams/SharePoint.

2023-2024

Motherhood & Freelancing on various projects here.

2020-2023

smart-me AG

I worked as a lead industrial, graphic, and ux | ui designer at smart-me AG. In this role, I held responsibility for both physical product design and all aspects of digital design B2B. I worked closely with the departments marketing and development. My biggest achievements were a design of an electric car charging station named Pico, the Establishment of a comprehensive corporate design system for the company and towards my parental leave I redesigned their software application.

2019-2020

BIGGER PICTURE GmbH

I worked on motion and explainer films for a studio BIGGER PICTURE GmbH. I worked on animations for clients such as Swiss Grid, Energie 360°, SHISEIDO, and Bank Cler. I gained knowledge in filmmaking, cutting, sound, and animation design.

2017-2019

On AG

I started as an intern and later worked full-time as an apparel product developer for On AG in Zürich. In addition to working on apparel pieces, I was responsible for trim design and the development of accessories. I actively participated in product cycles, overseeing processes from ideation, digital design, testing, sampling, and production to presentation and product launch.

During this period, I realized my passion for digital design, feeling at ease with it and being a fast learner with new digital tools. However, I must admit, I still hold a deep affection for physical product design and engage in it whenever the opportunity arises.

Education

2023-2024

UX | UI course and AI experiments

While I was on my parental leave, I aimed to acquire new knowledge and immerse myself in UX | UI design whenever I found the time. I completed a seven-module program from Google Design. Additionally, I experimented with AI programs such as Chat GPT and DALL°E

2014-2017

Bachelor industrial design at FHNW applied science

Throughout this study, I acquired knowledge in various fields of industrial design, ranging from furniture to firefighter helmets. The program consisted of 20% theory and 80% hands-on experience. My thesis was divided in two parts. One part was a theoretical essay about “Optimization of visibility and communication for the fire department” and the other part was a physical product design. In a team we realized called “senco” a firefighter helmet with AR sight.

2013-2014

Schweizer Berufsmatur

After completing my apprenticeship, I obtained the vocational baccalaureate at SfG Basel , enabling me to pursue studies in design.

2008-2012

Polydesignerin 3D*

I completed a four-year apprenticeship as a Polydesigner in 3D* in Basel. During that period, I had the opportunity to work on various projects, including stage design for Theater Basel, expo and event design for Hasslinger Messemanufaktur in Zürich, painting for Marcel Fischer AG in Allschwil, and display and event design for Ausbildungsverbund Gestaltung Basel.

2007-2008
